"It is my understanding that Buddha once said something to the effect that we are shining jewels nestled in the cosmic spider web. As we change our reflection, it influences and changes the other jewels in our spheres of influence. They in turn influence and change the reflection of those in their influence … and so on.

It is my hope as a photographer to impart the spirit that is reflected to me through my lens to those who come to gaze upon the material ‘reflection’ that we call a photo.  Whether my subject is nature, a city, people or macro images, I wish to show the spirit which is not always visible to the naked eye.   

The more we, as people, connect with nature, the more we will realize how inter-connected nature is to our human spirit. We cannot survive without it … and we thrive when we decide share our lives as an active part of it.
